Downloads

The latest Tux Football release is available for Windows and Linux in binary form. You can choose it from the following list:

• Windows Installer
• Windows Standalone ZIP
• the sources to build the game yourself

The code of the complete game, including the data, is available as "open source". So if you are interested in the latest development code you can get a copy of the latest development sources from GIT.

Installation

• Windows: Simply download the installer and run it. It will guide you through the necessary steps to install the game. Alternatively you can download the ZIP-archive of Tux Football in case you don't want to install the game but start it from a local folder.

• Linux: In case of Ubuntu/Debian you can use the prebuild package. Executing the package will install the game and all necessary dependencies. If you run a different distribution you can still download the sources and build the game yourself. Note that you need SDL, SDL_mixer and SDL_image to build the game.
